I've turned various features off to try and solve the issue: Hardware acceleration, sync, blurry/transparent theme, calendar/mail sync, no extensions. I've noticed it often happens when the status bar says "1 of 1 imported (100%)" (translated from Dutch). It's just painful to use and I don't see a solution anywhere. I can't click things, it just freezes, and this happens for a few seconds up to minute. Like every few minutes, perhaps even less, I just can't do anything. I'm confident it's the UI, not the websites themselves. I'm trying to enjoy Vivaldi, the features seems awesome, but it's just painfully slow to use. If it starts to become slow again after changing a setting I'll let y'all know. Though I don't know which setting it was. I did restart the browser before of course, so the issue was still likely a setting. UPDATE: Issue solved after restoring some but not all settings and restarting the browser.
